PRIVACY POLICY

   1. Who we are

Bromley Gutter Pros is an independent enquiry service. We do not carry out gutter work ourselves. We receive enquiries and may connect customers with suitable independent service providers.

For UK data protection purposes, the responsible data controller is Marcel Batzli Borlenghi, trading as Bromley Gutter Pros.

Contact: bromleygutterpros@outlook.com

   2. Information we collect

When you submit an enquiry, we may collect:

• Your name
• Telephone number and email address
• Postcode
• The service you require
• Details of the gutter problem
• Photographs you choose to upload
• Your consent selection
• Submission date, enquiry source and lead reference
• Contact progress, quotation status and outcome information
• Communications concerning your enquiry

Our website and service providers may also process basic technical information needed for website security and operation.

   3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Receive, review and organise your enquiry
• Check whether your location and requested service may be covered
• Contact you about your enquiry
• Share the enquiry with a suitable independent service provider where you have agreed
• Maintain an accurate history of enquiries and their outcomes
• Prevent spam, misuse and security problems
• Measure whether the website generates genuine enquiries
• Meet legal and regulatory responsibilities

We do not use your enquiry details for unrelated marketing unless you separately agree.

   4. Our lawful bases

We rely on our legitimate interests to operate and improve the requested enquiry service, maintain accurate records, prevent misuse and respond to enquiries. We only use information reasonably necessary for those purposes.

Where you actively agree that your enquiry may be shared with a suitable independent service provider, we rely on your consent for that sharing. You may withdraw consent before the information is shared by contacting us, although this does not affect processing that has already lawfully taken place.

We may also process information where necessary to comply with a legal obligation.

   5. Sharing with independent service providers

If a suitable provider is available and you have agreed, we may share the minimum information needed for them to contact you, understand the requested work and discuss availability and pricing.

Independent service providers are responsible for their own services, quotations, work and use of personal information after receiving it. Their own privacy information may also apply.

Bromley Gutter Pros may have a commercial referral arrangement with a service provider or receive payment for introducing suitable enquiries. We do not sell enquiry details for unrelated advertising or marketing.

   6. Other organisations we use

Information may be processed through trusted services used to operate the website and enquiry system, including:

• Snapps and its website and contact-form infrastructure
• Microsoft Outlook for business email
• Google services for enquiry records and file storage
• n8n for workflow automation

We may also disclose information where required by law, a court, a regulator or to protect people, property or our systems.

   7. International processing

Some technology providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where a restricted international transfer takes place, we expect the relevant provider to use an applicable adequacy arrangement, contractual safeguard or another lawful transfer mechanism.

   8. How long we keep information

We normally retain genuine enquiry records for up to 12 months after the most recent activity. This allows us to manage follow-ups, confirm outcomes, resolve concerns and demonstrate the history of an enquiry.

Test, duplicate and spam records will normally be removed within 30 days.

Uploaded photographs may be provided through time-limited links that usually expire after 90 days. If a photograph is separately retained as evidence, it will normally be deleted with the related enquiry record.

Information may be retained for longer where reasonably necessary for a legal claim, complaint, security investigation or legal obligation. We may retain anonymised statistics that no longer identify an individual.

   9. Security

We use access-controlled accounts and private records to reduce the risk of unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or loss. Access is limited to people and service providers who reasonably need the information.

No internet-based system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information we handle.

   10. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to:

• Ask for a copy of your personal information
• Ask us to correct inaccurate information
• Ask us to delete information
• Ask us to restrict how information is used
• Object to certain uses of your information
• Receive certain information in a portable format
• Withdraw consent where processing depends on consent

To exercise a right or raise a data protection concern, email bromleygutterpros@outlook.com. We may need to verify your identity and will normally respond within one month.

   11. Automated processing

Automation is used to record, label and organise enquiries. We do not currently make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

   12. Cookies

This website may use cookies or similar technologies that are strictly necessary for security and basic website operation. Non-essential analytics, advertising and marketing cookies are currently disabled.

We do not currently use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or behavioural advertising cookies. If non-essential cookies are introduced in the future, this notice will be updated and visitors will be asked for consent before those cookies are placed. Visitors will be able to accept or reject them.

   13. Children

This service is intended for adults requesting property-related services. We do not knowingly collect enquiries directly from children.

   14. Complaints

Please contact us first at bromleygutterpros@outlook.com so we can investigate your concern. We will acknowledge a data protection complaint within 30 days and respond without undue delay.

If you remain dissatisfied, you may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at:
